Basque Hydrogen Strategy

Hydrogen has been identified by European authorities as an essential element for the energy transition. A development horizon is anticipated for a global hydrogen market associated with its function of integrating renewable electrical technologies in the energy system.

The objective of the Basque Hydrogen Strategy is to establish the conditions for the production of renewable hydrogen, its storage, transport and diBasque-Hydrogen-Strategystribution in the local market and, at the same time, to serve as the basis for establishing a logistics center with relevance in the international market.
